SquadRoom AI employees for delegated business tasks
Give specialist agents a task, then review the work, documents and report.

What does SquadRoom actually do?
SquadRoom is a browser workspace for AI employees: specialist software agents that take assigned work through to documents and a final report. You describe a task, a lead called Ava routes it, and an agent owns the result. It suits founders and small teams handling research, content preparation and recurring operations who want to inspect what happened. People still need to check the output.
Review delivered work, not just a completion message
Every Task has one owner, while other specialists can contribute or review. Activity provides a timeline of steps, and the final Report points to the document versions delivered. Reference material and outputs live in versioned Docs with share links. A Doc can also be a Table with typed columns, editable rows, filtering, search and sorting. Saved versions can be restored. Use Request changes on a Doc to route feedback back into the work.
Run a first task with a clear finish line
- Explore the official live demo before buying. A personal workspace requires payment before setup.
- Explain your company goals and time-consuming work in setup chat, confirm the proposed squad, and connect a supported model account or key.
- Connect the relevant business tools and assign access scopes and agent permissions.
- Create a bounded Task with source material and a deliverable. For example, ask for a five-competitor positioning comparison with sources; this is a suggested brief, not a guaranteed outcome.
- Follow Activity, answer any Ticket in the inbox or Chat, then compare the Report and exact Doc versions with your acceptance criteria. Request changes if necessary.
Repeat research without losing its history
Built-in research includes web search, page reads and seven social platforms: LinkedIn, X, Reddit, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. Results can become research Docs or shared lists. Playbooks organize recurring work; scheduled Jobs can run, pause and resume in Calendar using the workspace timezone. Agents retain context and reuse shared skills, but source availability, research budgets and human review still constrain results.
Connect tools and limit each agent's reach
The site lists 24 integrations, including Gmail, HubSpot, GitHub, Notion and Slack, plus authenticated custom MCP servers. Connections can have read, write or full access, with permissions per agent. Chat works in the mobile-friendly web interface and through Telegram. Model connections include a ChatGPT account or keys from OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Azure OpenAI and OpenRouter. An integration still needs valid authorization for the intended action.
Budget for the subscription, models and research
Checked October 15, 2026: the public USD offer is $49/month in early access, against a $99 list price, retained while continuously subscribed. There are no per-agent, per-seat or per-Task fees, but fair-use limits apply. Check current pricing and checkout conditions.
Model usage is billed directly by your provider, separately, without SquadRoom markup. The plan includes 1,000 research credits per billing cycle; another 5,000 cost $10 and purchased credits do not expire. A web search costs 1 credit, a page fetch 5 and a browser session 10; cache hits and failed calls cost zero. Cancellation keeps access through the paid period. The seven-day subscription refund guarantee excludes provider charges; credit packs have separate unused-credit conditions in the refund policy.
Check data routing before connecting company accounts
The privacy policy describes workspace isolation, HTTPS/TLS and encryption of stored API keys. SquadRoom says it does not sell user data or train its own foundation models on proprietary workspace data. Requests still reach your connected model provider under its policies. Account deletion starts hard deletion from active databases within 30 days; encrypted backups may remain another 60 days. The terms leave output verification and model billing limits with the user.
Questions before you subscribe
Is SquadRoom free?
The public demo is free to explore. Your own workspace is paid and starts with checkout; a refund guarantee is not a free plan.
Is model usage included?
No. Bring a supported account or API key and pay that provider separately. Research credits have their own allowance and top-ups.
What happens when an agent gets blocked?
It raises a Ticket with one to three questions and pauses that Task. Answer in the inbox or Chat to resume it.
Does company data stay on my device?
No such local-only promise is established. Review platform processing, connected-tool permissions and provider policies before supplying confidential material.
