Humalike brings AI NPCs to FiveM servers for GTA V roleplay. Server owners configure characters with voices, personalities, knowledge and memories, then let players speak to them in the game. It is useful for RP communities building recurring witnesses, patients, informants and faction members, with developers handling deeper connections to existing server systems.

What does this website actually do?

Think of Humalike as a character control panel connected to your FiveM server. You describe who a character is and what they know; the installed server resource places or connects that character in the game. Players use their microphones to talk, and the NPC responds according to its configuration, relationships and context.

For example, a witness can become a conversation partner during a police investigation instead of delivering only a fixed line. The website manages the character; the interaction happens in your server. A working deployment therefore needs both the dashboard configuration and the FiveM resource.

Build recurring characters and connected factions

Characters can retain memories and separate relationships with different players. Names, backstories, personality, knowledge, secrets, voice, speaking style and appearance are configurable. Clothing, masks, weapons, gunfire and FiveM events can also influence responses. Within a story, a character may disclose information, conceal it or lie according to its role.

Shared group knowledge suits gangs, businesses, clubs and EMS teams. An encounter with one member can matter to the group's relationship with a player. Worlds help organize this wider setting, but a single NPC does not require a generated world.

Choose the character mode to match ownership of the game entity: Static maintains an NPC at configured coordinates; Ambient connects compatible population pedestrians; External attaches to a character managed by another server resource. Start with Static for a predictable test, then expand into existing missions or street encounters.

Install and test your first FiveM AI NPC

Prepare a current FXServer with OneSync, a Humalike account and server license, a publicly reachable callback, and a working player microphone.

  1. Select Register server in the AI NPC dashboard. Supply a name and public IPv4 callback in http://IP:port form, using port 1024–65535. The documented setup does not accept hostnames, private addresses or extra URL paths. Save the license when it is shown.
  2. Download the release attachment humalike.zip, not GitHub's source archive, and extract it to resources/humalike without an extra nested directory.
  3. Add set humalike_license_key "YOUR_KEY" and ensure humalike to the server configuration. Keep the license server-side with set; do not substitute setr.
  4. Run humalike_status to check the connection and providers. Create a Static NPC in the dashboard, setting its name, personality, language, voice, model and coordinates, then save and enable it.
  5. Allow the roster to refresh or restart the resource as documented. Approach the NPC in game and hold the configured push-to-talk key. A voice indicator and an audible reply confirm the first complete conversation.

Use the official quickstart for configuration details and troubleshooting before expanding the deployment.

Framework compatibility and the limits of dashboard setup

The documentation covers Standalone, ESX Legacy, QBCore and Qbox. NPC proximity speech uses included WebRTC voice configured from the license; ordinary player-to-player voice stays with your server's existing voice stack.

Following, gestures and vehicle entry or exit are supported action examples. Giving items, medical interactions and dispatch need the appropriate server providers and permission checks. Heavily modified frameworks may require a custom bridge. Creating a personality in the panel requires no coding, but arbitrary inventory or job integrations are not automatically configured for you.

Subscription costs, trial limits and chargeable turns

Public prices checked September 29, 2026 are USD 79/month for 25,000 turns and USD 119/month for 50,000 turns. These are published USD figures, not a tax-inclusive local quote. A turn is a delivered, audible NPC reply; listening, undelivered replies, short interjections and world generation do not consume this unit. A reply interrupted after playback starts can still count.

The one-time account trial requires choosing a plan and adding a card. It offers 1,000 turns for up to seven days. The paid subscription starts when either the week ends or the turns run out, whichever happens first. Cancel before that first charge if you only want the trial.

Auto-purchase defaults to on once a card is saved. Switching it off does not stop exhausted trial credits from starting the subscription. Paid grants can accumulate across renewals but expire one year after being granted. The landing page and detailed billing guide describe different extra-turn packages, so confirm add-ons in the dashboard or with support. The NPC billing guide explains the current mechanics.

Data and licensing questions to settle before rollout

Humalike's policies identify Soofte, Inc. as the operator. Persistent character memory is not a promise that data stays only on your server. The privacy policy describes purpose-dependent retention and verified deletion requests with legal exceptions; it does not establish a specific NPC audio/transcript retention period or training commitment.

Review those details with the provider if your community has recording requirements. The general terms of service address B2B use; downloading the server resource does not establish unrestricted redistribution rights for the platform.

Questions server owners ask

Is Humalike free to use?

There is a card-backed trial, not a verified permanent free NPC plan. Its 1,000-turn or seven-day limit can trigger the selected subscription, even with auto-purchase disabled.

Does a FiveM AI NPC script require coding?

Character authoring happens in the panel. Someone must still install and configure the resource; custom inventory, jobs or dispatch may require bridge code.

Is this a single-player GTA V mod?

The verified product and installation guide target FiveM servers. They do not establish support for standalone GTA V single-player or console use.
