Freepik became Magnific in April 2026. It is the same company and platform under a new name, with existing accounts, subscriptions, projects, download histories, licenses, and API keys carried over to magnific.com. The official rebrand announcement explains the transition.

Magnific combines AI image, video, audio, 3D, design, and workflow tools with a library of more than 250 million stock assets. It is designed for creators and teams that want to generate, edit, upscale, organize, and deliver media without moving between many separate AI services.

What can Magnific create?

The AI Image Generator supports text prompts, reference images, sketches, and custom-trained characters. Users can select from dozens of models, including options from Google, OpenAI, Black Forest Labs, ByteDance, Recraft, Ideogram, and other providers. Settings vary by model and may include aspect ratio, image count, prompt guidance, reference strength, and style controls.

The AI Video Generator creates clips from text, still images, start and end frames, or visual references. Its model catalog includes Google Veo, Kling, Seedance, MiniMax, Runway, PixVerse, Wan, Luma, Sora, and others. Available controls can include duration, resolution, motion, aspect ratio, synchronized audio, lip sync, and character consistency.

Magnific also includes image and video upscalers, generative editing, background removal, retouching, camera-angle changes, mockups, icons, 3D tools, text-to-speech, voice tools, music, and sound-effect generation.

Talking characters and voiceovers

Speak turns a still image or an existing video into a talking clip. Add a script and choose an AI voice, or upload recorded audio. The tool generates synchronized lip movement, facial motion, and timing.

The Voice Generator converts text into natural-sounding voiceovers in multiple languages and voices. Voice, music, and sound effects can be combined with generated video, making Magnific relevant for presenter clips, character videos, ads, tutorials, and social content.

Spaces, Projects, and workflows

Spaces is a node-based infinite canvas for connecting prompts, references, generators, editors, upscalers, audio tools, and outputs. A single prompt can feed several models, allowing users to compare results or build repeatable image-to-video workflows.

Projects organize generated content, uploads, and stock downloads. Business and Enterprise users receive additional collaboration, shared credits, permissions, comments, and administrative controls. Free plan and current pricing

The Free plan provides limited access to basic tools. It currently allows up to 20 daily image generations with Magnific's in-house model and 10 stock downloads per day. Free content is limited to personal use and requires attribution.

• Premium: $20 monthly, or $14.50 per month billed annually; 20,000 monthly credits or 240,000 annual credits
• Premium+: $45 monthly, or $33.75 per month billed annually; 45,000 monthly credits or 600,000 annual credits
• Pro: $280 monthly, or $210 per month billed annually; 300,000 monthly credits or 4 million annual credits

Premium adds Premium stock assets, commercial use, and no-attribution licensing. Premium+ adds Unlimited generation on most image models and the ability to buy extra credits. Pro adds the largest individual credit pool, early access, and a Merchandise License for qualifying non-AI Premium stock assets.

Monthly credits reset each billing cycle and do not normally roll over. Annual credits are issued for the year and remain valid for that annual period. Prices exclude applicable taxes and promotional discounts can change.

What does Unlimited mean?

Unlimited does not apply to every model or tool. It primarily covers selected image models on Premium+ and above. Premium models, video, audio, model training, and advanced editing may still consume credits.

Unlimited use is also subject to the Fair Use Policy. Automated mass generation, scraping, account sharing, bots, or attempts to bypass limits are prohibited and may lead to slower access or account restrictions.

Credit costs differ significantly by model. A basic image can cost only a few credits, while a high-resolution image or short video may consume hundreds or thousands. Check the displayed cost before each production run.

Commercial licensing and copyright

Paid plans include a commercial AI license. Free-plan output and Free stock content are limited to personal use and require attribution. Review Magnific's AI content and copyright guidance for the current terms.

Magnific allows paid users to use AI-generated images and videos as central elements in commercial work, provided the Input and Output do not infringe third-party rights. However, AI copyright law is still evolving, and Magnific does not guarantee that an AI-generated result can receive copyright protection in every jurisdiction.

AI output is not guaranteed to be exclusive. Similar results may be generated for other users, and the user remains responsible for trademarks, copyrighted characters, likenesses, voices, personal data, and other protected material. AI-generated content is excluded from Magnific's standard legal protection for stock assets; Enterprise agreements may provide separate indemnification.

Stock assets follow different rules

Stock content belongs to its original author. A Magnific subscription grants a license, not ownership. Free users must provide attribution. Paid users can generally use licensed stock content without attribution, but redistribution of original or editable source files is prohibited.

For products sold to multiple buyers, stock resources normally must remain secondary elements. Pro's Merchandise License allows qualifying non-AI Premium stock assets to be used as the main element of physical products, up to 100,000 units per asset. AI-generated content is excluded from that Merchandise License and instead follows the AI Products Terms.

Privacy and uploaded content

Magnific says uploaded images and voices are not used to train or improve its AI models or those of its third-party model providers. Its terms also state that Inputs and Outputs are not used to train Magnific's own AI models.

The privacy policy nevertheless allows Magnific to study the relationship between prompts, outputs, and feedback to improve the service, based on legitimate interest. Users can object to that processing.

Uploaded images and audio files are deleted from Magnific after generation is completed. The selected third-party model provider may process the data as a subprocessor and retain it for up to 30 days. Prompts and generated Outputs are retained during the contractual relationship and may remain blocked for applicable legal limitation periods after it ends.

Different third-party models may process data in different countries. Users handling confidential, biometric, client, or regulated material should review the model-specific location and terms before choosing a provider.
