What is AI Studios by DeepBrain AI?

AI Studios is an AI avatar video generator operated by DeepBrain AI Inc. It combines script-to-video production, talking presenters, text-to-speech, voice cloning, lip-synced dubbing, interactive training and third-party image and video models in a browser workspace. The former DeepBrain AI homepage now redirects to AI Studios, making https://www.aistudios.com/ the canonical product URL.

The platform is designed for presenter-led explainers, training, product videos, marketing and localized content. Users can begin with a topic, script, document, product page, URL, image or short clip, then revise the automatically created scenes in a slide-style editor. AI Studios is the product brand; DeepBrain AI is the company behind it. It should not be confused with Google's separate AI Studio developer product.

AI Studios video, avatar and voice features

• Automated video drafts: Topic to Video, Script to Video, URL to Video and Docs to Video can assemble a script, visuals, voiceover and avatar. PDFs, PowerPoint files and Word documents are supported input paths.
• Avatar library: The current homepage advertises more than 2,000 ready-to-use AI-generated avatars. Studio avatars are filmed with real actors, while custom avatars use recorded footage and Photo Avatars animate a still image.
• Custom and product avatars: Create a digital twin from webcam or phone footage, animate an authorized portrait, or make a product-holding avatar for UGC-style ecommerce content.
• Voice generation: AI Studios advertises more than 1,000 voices across 150+ languages. Text-to-speech, a pronunciation workflow and voice cloning are available for avatar and voice-only projects.
• AI dubbing: Upload an existing video, translate it, generate speech for different speakers and apply optional lip sync. Personal includes 120 dubbing minutes per month; Team includes 240 minutes and a script-proofreading workflow.
• Generative images and clips: Generative credits can be spent on models such as Veo, Sora, Kling, Seedance and image generators. This short-form model workflow is separate from standard avatar-led video creation.
• Editor and publishing tools: Add templates, brand assets, subtitles, screen recordings, stock media, music, annotations and multiple avatars, then export at the plan's resolution.
• Interactive video and courses: Add quizzes and branching, build courses and export supported training to SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004 or xAPI for LMS use.
• Real-time avatars: A separate Interactive Avatar plan supports live conversations through a URL or API, with LLM and TTS integration and session-based billing.

The following reflects the official English pricing page checked on August 20, 2026. The page displays annual billing with a 20% discount; month-to-month checkout pricing can be higher.

“Unlimited AI videos” means the number of standard videos is not capped. Maximum duration, priority renders, dubbing minutes and premium generative credits remain limited. Older AI Studios help and blog pages still mention three-minute free videos, but the current English pricing page says one minute; the live account dashboard should decide if documentation conflicts.

How generative credits work

Generative credits pay for external image and short-video models and some automated media. The current help article gives these examples:

• AI dubbing: 1.5 credits per 60 seconds without lip sync, or 3 credits per 60 seconds with lip sync after included dubbing minutes are exhausted.
• AI image generation: about 0.1 to 2 credits per image, depending on the model.
• AI video generation: about 0.4 to 3.5 credits per second, depending on the model.
• Product Avatar and Product to Video: 11 credits per result.

Free users receive 16 credits once; those credits do not refill monthly. Personal and Team credits follow the selected monthly or annual billing cycle. Annual credits are granted upfront. Unused base and add-on credits expire at renewal and do not roll over. Dubbing minutes always reset monthly, including for annual subscribers, and also do not roll over.

Separate Interactive Avatar pricing

Live avatar conversations use another credit pool. The current Free Interactive Avatar plan includes 2 credits, a maximum 10-minute session and one concurrent user. Standard costs $99 per month for 100 credits, charges 1 credit per 5 conversation minutes, and allows sessions up to 20 minutes with up to 20 concurrent users. Enterprise is custom. Do not confuse these live-session credits with AI Studios generative credits.

Commercial use and output ownership

AI Studios' general license permits personal or business use of the service. Its 2026 Generative Content Annex states that paid subscribers own the outputs created through the generative features, including associated intellectual-property rights, while Free users may use those generative outputs only for personal, non-commercial purposes unless separately authorized. The legal status of AI output still varies by jurisdiction, and DeepBrain AI does not guarantee uniqueness or copyright eligibility.

This ownership statement applies to generated output, not to the underlying AI Studios software or every third-party stock asset. Shutterstock media, music, templates, actors and other licensed materials remain subject to their own restrictions. For example, Shutterstock assets may only be used as incorporated into a project and cannot be extracted in original form; sensitive depictions, political endorsement and trademark use are restricted.

When publicly sharing outputs from the Generative Features, the terms require clear disclosure that AI was used and prohibit presenting them as human-made. Generative output cannot be used for political propaganda or election content, medical, legal or financial advice, model training, unlawful material or automated decisions that affect people's rights.

Consent and real-person avatars

AI Studios puts responsibility for avatar photos, footage and voices on the user. You must have the necessary rights and permissions for every person and asset uploaded. The help center permits an avatar of yourself or an authorized team member but prohibits unauthorized celebrity and public-figure avatars; AI Studios says it uses automated detection to block public-figure lookalikes.

The platform does not promise to resolve consent or ownership for the user. Misusing another person's likeness or voice can lead to account action and civil or criminal consequences, and the terms require the user to indemnify DeepBrain AI for related claims. The privacy policy also prohibits uploading or transmitting images or voices of children under 13.

Custom and Photo Avatars are private to the account and to workspaces where the user chooses to share projects, according to the help center. Privacy at the workspace level does not remove the need for an external model release, employee consent or other permission appropriate to the intended use.

Privacy and data processing

AI Studios collects account credentials, subscription and payment records, service inquiries, and—when relevant—photos and voice data for avatar services. The current privacy table says Dream Avatar photos and voice are deleted on membership withdrawal, while purchase records can be retained for five years. It does not give one universal retention period for every uploaded document, source video or generated asset.

The privacy policy says personal information may be shared with payment, cloud, customer-support and AI-model providers as needed to deliver features. The Generative Content Annex adds that inputs can be sent to changing third-party AI providers and transmitted outside the user's region, including to the United States, and advises against entering sensitive personal data.

The general terms say User Content is not considered confidential and may be accessed and processed as necessary to operate, improve, secure or provide the service. The public documents do not offer a blanket promise that every self-service input is excluded from service improvement or model-related processing. Confidential scripts, unreleased product media, customer records and personal data should therefore be reviewed against the current subprocessor list and an Enterprise agreement before upload.

AI Studios advertises ISO 27001 certification, SOC 2 Type II compliance and GDPR compliance for its enterprise offering. Those controls reduce risk but do not replace checking workspace permissions, retention, vendor locations and organizational data rules.

Main limitations to consider

• Free generative output is restricted to personal and non-commercial use, despite the free plan being useful for testing creation.
• The current Free plan permits only three one-minute videos per month and supplies 16 non-renewing generative credits.
• Premium image and short-video models can use 0.4–3.5 credits per second of video, so a small allowance can disappear quickly.
• “Unlimited video” does not mean unlimited dubbing, premium generation, duration, priority rendering or live-avatar sessions.
• Documentation can lag: some older official pages still describe three-minute Free videos while the live pricing page says one minute.
• Avatar lip sync, pronunciation, hands, product interaction, translations and generated visuals can contain errors and require review. DeepBrain AI provides outputs without accuracy, reliability or completeness guarantees.
• Gesture control is available only for supported stock avatars, not ordinary Custom or Photo Avatars. Higher-end custom gestures require an Enterprise Studio Avatar.
• Similar or identical output may be generated for other users, and legal ownership or copyrightability can differ by country.
• User Content is not treated as confidential under the self-service terms, and external generative models can process inputs across borders.
• Refunds are generally unavailable after any use of the service; an unused purchase may qualify only if requested within 14 calendar days, subject to the stated exceptions and local law.

Who is AI Studios best for?

AI Studios fits creators, marketers, learning teams and global communications groups that want avatar presenters, dubbing and general AI media in one workspace. It is especially useful for repeatable explainers, product videos, localized training and camera-free presentations. A dedicated nonlinear editor may be better for precise post-production, while a direct model provider may offer simpler economics when a team only needs cinematic short clips and no avatars or dubbing.

Yes. The current Free plan allows three AI videos per month, up to one minute each, with 720p export, one custom avatar, three dubbing uses and 16 one-time generative credits. Generative outputs from Free are limited to personal, non-commercial use under the current terms.

Is AI Studios the same as DeepBrain AI?
