WikiFix: AI Knowledge Maintenance for Confluence
Find conflicting, duplicate and ownerless Confluence pages, then review and apply fixes.

What is WikiFix, in plain language?
WikiFix is an AI knowledge base maintenance app for Confluence Cloud, built by Totem Dev. Think of it as a reviewer for an existing company wiki. If one policy says an allowance is five days and another says ten, it brings the conflicting passages together so someone can decide which rule is correct. It then helps apply the approved correction.
It is useful for Confluence administrators and knowledge leads maintaining onboarding instructions, internal policies and operational documentation. People and AI assistants can both rely on the same flawed sources; fixing the source is the task WikiFix addresses.
Resolve contradictions, duplicates and missing ownership
The current product finds three kinds of problems. Contradiction findings quote each page's answer and link to the original passage. For duplicate or near-duplicate pages, you choose the page and unique facts to retain; the merged-away content points to the retained source. For a page whose owner has left, you can assign a new owner.
These are different decisions. A contradictory claim needs a knowledgeable reviewer, a duplicate needs a consolidation decision, and an abandoned page needs someone to maintain it. A recently edited page can still contain an inconsistency, so checking content adds something that an age filter cannot provide.
Run a first scan and review the result
- Install through the Atlassian Marketplace and open Apps → WikiFix.
- Choose spaces in the first-run setup, or open Scans → Start a Scan, enter a name and select the spaces.
- Start the background scan and inspect findings as they arrive. Compare the quoted passages with the real business rule.
- Choose the correct answer, review the proposed change and use Apply. If you cannot decide, Ask owner posts a comment mentioning the owner and space administrators; Ignore dismisses the finding for that scan.
- Check the resulting Confluence page and version history. You can configure a recurring schedule after creating the scan.
Follow the installation and scan guide for the current interface. Scanning uses the app's granted access; applying a correction requires the user's write access. Content rollback may be partial or refused if pages changed afterward. Owner reassignment can only be reversed once the previous owner is active again, according to the current guide.
Understand the trial and scanning costs
Checked on October 6, 2026: WikiFix is paid through Atlassian Marketplace, with per-user subscriptions converted into scan credits. Standard and Advanced differ in capacity; paid Advanced also allows an Anthropic API key. Confirm the actual team quote through the official pricing links.
The trial documentation distinguishes a 30-day evaluation from a one-time US$50 credit grant. The grant does not expire with the evaluation. Scans and AI-authored rewrites spend credits; viewing reports, asking an owner, reverting and reassigning a departed owner do not. This is not an unlimited free plan, and BYOK is unavailable during evaluation.
Both editions include the same scanners and repair workflow. If credits run out, the scan stops and keeps existing findings. Using your own key incurs charges under your Anthropic account. See the credit and capacity rules.
Check the limits and internal-data handling
WikiFix is in beta and can miss contradictions or flag legitimate differences. Code comparison, broken-link detection, Notion and Git Markdown workflows are on the roadmap, not current capabilities. It supports Confluence Cloud, not Data Center or Server. Review the detection limitations before planning a rollout.
The privacy policy describes Frankfurt storage, derived vectors and finding excerpts. Duplicate merges retain the previous body for rollback, and Langfuse receives content-bearing AI requests and responses. Without required EU residency, one paragraph-matching check runs in the US; requiring EU residency changes that route at a higher credit cost. BYOK sends requests to Anthropic under your own agreement. The provider states content is not used for model training and tenant data is deleted within 30 days of uninstall.
Common questions
Does WikiFix fix every error?
No. It finds particular types of issues and has documented detection gaps. A person must decide which statement is correct; an empty report does not prove the wiki is accurate.
Will it change pages without approval?
Scans are read-only. A user with the required access must approve a fix before it is written to Confluence.
Is the US$50 grant the same as a free subscription?
No. It is a one-time scanning allowance, separate from the 30-day evaluation and subsequent Marketplace subscription.
